Dear Curiosity Journal,
We did it! This is our last pack out of the 2024 CSA season. We sent out between 60-100 vegetable shares (10 items per box) per week for 28 weeks. That’s somewhere between 16,800 and 28,000 vegetables packed (not even counting our wholesale orders) in case anyone (besides me) was curious. This is no small feat, especially considering the size of our team (4). Rufus and I want to send a huge thank you to Annie Schulz, our summer intern who helped a ton in the height of the season, as well as Tim Herbert, our dedicated driver, who helped deliveries go smoothly all year long. We also want to thank all of our CSA members for supporting our labor of love and eating our veggies. It means so much to us that you have joined us this season. We could not do this without you! We are looking forward to taking a little break, resting our bodies, reading books, cross-country skiing, browsing seed catalogs, and daydreaming about next year. If you would like to join us for the 2025 CSA season, the signups will begin next week. Thank you again to all of our members and supporters for helping us have a successful CSA season.
