Dear Curiosity Journal,
No matter how hard the rain is falling, the harvest must go on. We packed our second week of the winter CSA in the pouring rain on Tuesday, but I can’t complain because we needed the rain and our garlic got seriously watered in. We were super thankful that our friends and board members, Taylor and Diana, came out to lend a hand before we met to coordinate our end of year appeal for Driftless Curiosity. These gals never cease to amaze me with their positive attitude and good energy. It is always a pleasure to work with them, even if we are soaked to the bone. We packed napa cabbage, bok choy, winter squash, onions, broccoli, swiss chard, tomatoes, green bell peppers, kohlrabi, and carrots – not bad for the first week of November! Thank you Taylor & Diana for all of your support!
