Dear Curiosity Journal,
Sometimes hard working farmers need to boogie! Rufus, Annie, Luis and I called it a day early on Thursday afternoon to head over to Driftless Music Gardens for The Boogiedown Music Festival. We don’t take much time off in the busy summer season, but when we do, it’s to go to DMG to dance with our friends. We love and appreciate our music community so much and I feel so fortunate to have these sweet summer festivals right down the road. We enjoy creating elaborate veggie trays for the musicians, strolling around the beautiful space they have cultivated, and hugging so many friends that feel like family after almost a decade of sponsoring and attending DMG festivals. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend it! They never disappoint! If you will be there, we’ll see you on the dance floor on Friday and Saturday! Let’s BOOGIE!
