Dear Curiosity Journal,
On Sunday, we had the pleasure of hosting author, Tracy Chipman, for the writing workshop, “Lost & Found: Exploring Cycles, Sensuality, and the Written Word”. We gathered on the land with 11 lovely ladies and took a deep dive into the wells of women’s wisdom through story, poetry, prose, somatic practices, and the magic of putting pen to paper upon the prompt of mindful, intuitive, and emergent guidance. We erupted in both giggles and tears in an open dialogue, holding safe space for each other in unconditional high regard. We listened. We learned. We wrote. We healed. We held each other in love and support while talking about hard things. We weaved together a blanket of our stories and rested under its warmth for a while – taking in that age-old soul medicine from the constellation of grandmothers beyond our time, sensing into the surreal cycles of life, bodies, love, and the voices that narrate them. I want to thank Tracy Chipman for sharing her beautiful gift with us, as well as all of the women who came out to explore this topic on the land. You have all enriched my writing experience more than you know.
