Dear Curiosity Journal,
We made a big push this week to move transplants into the driveway fields. In these gardens, we’re using black landscape fabric for weed suppression, and although I don’t feel great about the plastic, gardening this large plot without it would be exponentially more work, so I’m thankful for it. Thousands of transplants moved through our hands this week. Onions, broccoli, brussels sprouts, kale, zucchini, head lettuce, and marigolds fill the field, and I can tell Rufus is feeling good about the accomplishment as he stands back to survey the foodscape. We’re coming into the big-time production now! Let’s grow!
