Dear Curiosity Journal,
Sunday is no longer a day of rest when there is rain in the forecast and a wagon full of transplants that need to get into the field. During our morning coffee chat, Rufus announced that we needed to rally to plant the onions and zucchini. Extra cups of coffee were necessary. We planted 1600 onions and 400 zucchinis – no small garden task. Before joining the vegetable cause, while Rufus was prepping the field, I also transplanted 250 echinacea, 250 seashell cosmos, and 120 yarrow flowers. Wasting a generative spring rain is basically a cardinal sin around here, so we spent our Sunday in service to the gardens and went to bed early.
