Dear Curiosity Journal,
After an arduous session of cleaning, organizing, and setting up the shop for the upcoming Creative Metalworking Weekend, Rufus says, “I hate to say it, but we need to pick the asparagus”. I had practically already crawled into bed in my mind, but rallied after an hour of resting and getting mentally motivated for another hour and a half of squats and lunges. When the harvest calls, we have to answer or let nutrition and income fade in the field. So we pump each other up and get out there. Thankfully Karma and Aslan gave us a hand, driving the “Asparagus Uber” and collecting bundles while we picked. We are always grateful for a helping hand, especially in the homestretch of a long day.
