Dear Curiosity Journal,

After a shivery winter in a brisk farmhouse, I appreciate the experience of breaking a sweat in the greenhouse. Curiously, I know this fondness for the heat will not endure. When summer is in full bloom, I eschew the midday sun and only visit the hoop houses in the early morning or evening, but today I soak up every joule. I find the act of perspiring to be a cleansing rite of spring, a reminder from the body to ring out the stagnation of winter and await a vernal shower.
