Our first Poetry Hike field trip with RedLou Library and the North Crawford 1st Grade class was a big success! We hiked around the pines, read and discussed poetry about animals, enjoyed lunch and books in the hammock forest, and crafted the children’s favorite animals (as well as made up some new animals from our imagination).
