Driftless Curiosity would like to thank everyone who came out to our First Annual Earth Day Celebration. We enjoyed spending time on the land with you (although it was a little windy, you were all so brave). We learned about forestry, foraging, birds, no-till gardening, zero waste events, reducing plastics, permaculture, food choices, and grounding to Mother Earth through yoga. The kids enjoyed reading books with RedLou Library, a puppet show by Viroqua Plastic Free, making fairy houses and bird feeders, as well as exploring the land through a scavenger hunt and a treasure hunt. I’m so thankful to be surrounded by so many amazing individuals and organizations in the Driftless who come together to make cool events like this possible. Thanks Community!
