It’s winter in Wisconsin, but you still want to connect to the land and warmth. Join us on the farm for some cross-country skiing followed by a relaxing sit in the sauna. Explore miles of trails, mild to moderate slopes, dips into the pine forest, and traversing across open fields. When you get too cold, step into the steamy wood fired sauna and melt the chill away.

Maple Syrup Workshop

Details:

Come hike into the maple trees with us and we’ll teach you all about running a small family maple syrup operation. This class will cover tapping trees, sap collection, boiling, and canning finished syrup. We’ll also sprinkle in some fascinating history and sugar science.

Explanation of Self-Selected Sliding Scale Pricing: There are 3 sliding scale ticket options on the registration form. If you would like to register as a Driftless Curiosity volunteer, you can choose the $30 ticket and your email will be entered into our volunteer system which will send you periodic volunteer opportunities to help with other Driftless Curiosity events or land-based projects. We ask volunteers to accept one volunteer opportunity for each program they attend at the volunteer rate within the same calendar year. Otherwise, you can choose the $60 suggested ticket price or the $90 sponsor ticket price, which donates $30 to a scholarship fund for limited income participants to attend programs for free or reduced cost.
