Dear Curiosity Journal,

At the end of the day, when I set my work aside, I love to look over the flower gardens. I take a leisurely stroll (at an intentionally slower pace than my “work walk”) and observe the growth, the weeds, new leaves, bunny nibbles, regenerated vines, mushroom blooms, buzzing bees, and butterfly diversity. I try my best to just admire, not pluck, or primp, or fix. I practice holding the ephemeral nature of the petals in the present and being happy for what is right now. I’ve taken Mother Nature’s hand, and we’ve spun a tiny seed into a home, a meal, and an art. What a lark, what a plunge.
