Dear Curiosity Journal,
It’s berry season, babies! Strawberries, mulberries, raspberries, black caps, and more are coming on strong. On Monday, I had the pleasure of trying black currants and Juneberries for the very first time during a land walk for Wisconsin Women in Conservation. They were both so delicious, but I was really surprised by the flavor of the black currants, very distinct, sort of floral, almost perfumy, and I’m obsessed! I think I know what our permaculture addition will be in 2025. Discovering diversity is truly divine. Enjoy berry season, friends. There is an abundance out there!
