Dear Curiosity Journal,

Last Monday, Gaby and I got together to order the rest of the supplies for the Mexican Fiber Arts Weekend, so packages have been arriving all week. We received a generous donation of Japanese indigo (persicaria tinctoria) from Wasatch Community Gardens in Utah, which will be used for a demonstration in the Natural Dyes workshop. The color is just stunning! I also picked up 10 lbs. of BFL (Bluefaced Leicester) wool from Ewetopia, which I am equally excited about. It is so cool to see the work of so many farmers coming together for this project, literally weaving land, farming, art, and culture together.
